Raffles Singapore is Asia’s largest school specializing in Design and Economics. The school offers a 3-year program and a 1-year Master program.
The University has more than 30 branches in 12 Asian countries (Singapore, Hong Kong, Thailand, Malaysia, China, …) During the course of study, students have the right to switch between schools within the Raffles system.
All majors of the training school have compulsory Internship programs. All Raffles students are offered an internship for 1 semester.
The school has a Job Development Center, which has the duties:
Specializes in finding domestic and foreign partner companies for students to do internships.
Workshop on resume writing and interview skills.
Organize job fairs and invite partner companies to interview Raffles students privately, increasing students’ ability to find jobs upon graduation.
In addition, Raffles College always encourages students to participate in Design competitions at home and abroad. Raffles students win almost every contest.
70% of the teachers are foreigners from Europe, America, Australia, Canada … All teachers are people who have been working in the artistic creation field. The teachers brought not only theory, but also practical work experience. The exercises students do in class are similar to projects that Design and Media companies are working on. So when graduating from school, the students will not be surprised when entering the working environment, the short probation period, and can catch up on the work quickly.
Small class sizes: each class has a maximum of 15-20 students. There are fewer classes, so teachers and students interact more. Teachers know the strengths and weaknesses of each student, to develop their strengths and overcome weaknesses.
Every year, Raffels offers scholarships to students: Scholarships up to S $ 4,000 for excellent students completing the first 2 years (advanced college). This scholarship will be deducted from the student’s final year tuition.
